Gray Whale Distilled Gin 43% Vol. 0,7l

The idea for Gray Whale Gin came during a camping trip to Big Sur. The producers were impressed by California’s breathtaking beauty. In the turquoise sea, they saw a gray whale with its calf – thus the idea for the production of this gin. In 2016, the Golden State Distillery was founded.

The gin is distilled 7 times based on corn to guarantee a high quality product. Selected botanicals are used, either from sustainable farms or wild collections.

The sun-dried botanicals are weighed, tested and poured directly into the still to release their unique aroma. To preserve the fresh citrus and pine needles, they are placed in a bag that is carefully secured over the copper-colored stills. Botanical distillation is the final step in our process.
