The Aurum is then aged in used bourbon barrels. In this way, subtle vanilla and toffee notes enter the Aurum, shaping its character.
For the Aurum, the barrels are carefully blended by hand from the individual vintages using the highest state of the art technology. The master blender uses all his skills to create the most exquisite blended rum, which is approved for bottling only when it reaches the highest level.
