Winemaker Description

Located in Pouilly-sur-Loire, in the heart of the Frances Loire Valley, the Domaine Gilles Chollet uses modern wine-making techniques to bring out the best of the Pouilly Fum terroir. The 30 acres estate is comprised of clay-limestone and sandy soils and benefits from a south-western exposure. The vines are cultivated in accordance with sustainable agricultural methods known as Lutte Raisonne.

Gilles Chollet worked in the vineyards for over ten years before taking over the Domaine from his father to develop it with his wife.

Little by little, Gilles has invested in high-performance equipment that allows him to better control the fermentation and to extract a maximum of aromas.
