The Day of the Dead (Da de los Muertos) is one of the most important estivities in Mexico because Mexicans honor their dead with a joyful and positive celebration, now turned into a fantastic popular holiday. The conception of life and death, as well as all the traditions and ancient beliefs that revolve around the subject, is a characteristic that distinguishes Mexicans from the rest of the world.
