Produced in Zacapa, Guatemala, the rum is based on a selection of individual distillates, which are first matured separately and then blended and further matured in different barrels.

Storage in oak barrels takes place at an altitude of around 2300 meters above sea level, where the rum is exposed to special climatic conditions that contribute to the quality and profile of Zacapa Centenario.
